I started photoaperture in September 2006 to share my latest photos. I've been a part-time freelance photographer since 2003. I shoot weddings, and occasionally do portraits and commercial work. To keep photography fun and exciting I started this site.
Here I can share images outside of my commercial site, robertaubin.com, without any pressure. Keeping a photoblog also helps to motivate me to keep practicing and even forces me to review old photos under a new light. There have been quite a few photos that I took years ago that have been posted here. More experience, new techniques and even new software lets me take a second look at photos that might have gone in the trash several years ago.
